Sign a battery up to a demand response contract – eligibility

Residential

Answer the following questions to check if you meet the eligibility requirements for the battery demand response incentive (BESS2 in the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme). This incentive is for the signup of your behind the meter battery to a residential demand response contract, also known as a Virtual Power Plant (VPP). A key requirement of this incentive is that there is a solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery system installed at your address.

If you’re ineligible, we’ll show you why and give you the corresponding rule clauses.
