Project summary
The NSW Reforestation Program 2024 will focus on land that Greening Australia has identified as priority regions for revegetation. The project will implement environmental carbon planting projects in partnership with landholders across NSW. This project will achieve benefits for landholders by integrating reforestation into existing farming objectives, resulting in ecosystem improvements while providing a financial return. The plantings are designed to meet the Environmental Planting method requirements alongside the landholders’ current use and aspirations for their properties.
