Applying for ASP accreditation

Please download the form below which is relevant to the ASP level you seek accreditation for. For further information please refer to the ASP scheme rules

If you have any person/s who need to be registered against your proposed accreditation, and they have previously been registered with another ASP, please provide their RA Number/s. This will assist with the timely completion of your application.

Complete the form and email it to [email protected] with the subject line "New application level#".

Registering a new employee or subcontractor

Before seeking authorisation to work on or near an electricity network, all employees and subcontractors of ASPs must be registered with the ASP scheme. Employees and subcontractors will also need to be trained in the safety and operating procedures of the local electricity distributor. If the electricity distributor cancels an authorisation, this could result in cancellation of accreditation under this scheme.

If you have any person/s who need to be registered against your accreditation, and if they have previously been registered with another ASP or if they are subcontracted to your  accreditation, please provide their RA Number/s. This  will assist with the timely completion of your registration application.

ASPs must complete the appropriate form below to register employees or subcontractors.

Please download the form relevant to the ASP level you seek registration for.

Complete the form and email it to [email protected] with the subject line "Registration ASP####".

Changing your details

If your details have changed, please complete the Update of Accredited Service Provider details form. If your ABN has changed, you will need to complete a new application form to be issued a new accreditation as the former accreditation will cease on change of an ABN. 

Once completed, email it to [email protected] with the subject line "Change of details ASP####".

Applying to upgrade your accreditation

Grading review is available to level 1 and level 2 ASPs who meet the requirements set out in the scheme rules. Applications for regrade require review of an ASP’s performance. Level 1 requests also require verification by an independent assessor.

To apply for a level 1 or level 2 grading review, please download and complete the form below for the ASP level you seek regarding for (there are no regrades for level 3 accreditation).

Once completed, email it to [email protected] with the subject line "Regrade request ASP####".

Apply for additional classes

To apply for one or more additional classes to be added to your accreditation, please download and complete the form relevant to the ASP level you seek additional classes for. 

If you have any person/s who need to be registered as part of an additional class request , and if they have previously been registered with the ASP Scheme or if they are subcontracted to your accreditation, please provide their RA Number/s. This will assist with the timely completion of your additional class or registration application.

Once completed, email it to [email protected] with the subject line "Additional class request ASP####".
