The NSW Government spends over $40 billion every year on goods, services and infrastructure. By harnessing this purchasing power, we can not only meet value-for-money procurement requirements but also reduce our impact on the environment.
That’s why we’ve worked together with NSW Procurement to develop the guide to environmentally sustainable procurement (the Guide). The Guide will help NSW Government agencies increase the level of environmental sustainability in the way they procure goods, services and construction.
We’ve also provided a set of templates to help agencies incorporate environmental sustainability into procurement and use the Guide to its full potential.
