The NSW Government is committed to using more recycled materials wherever possible.

That’s why we’re implementing Choose Circular, a new program that aims to stimulate innovation and demand for recycled materials through NSW Government procurement. We want to make it easy for your agency to source and use recycled materials. To help you do this, Choose Circular is providing funding support of up to $3.6 million.

Expressions of interest (EOIs) are now open. We want to hear from you!

Choose Circular funding

This funding opportunity is part of the broader Circular Innovation Fund initiative. It will help empower your teams and encourage the use of recycled materials.

By increasing the use of recycled materials in everyday practice, your agency not only plays a crucial role in reducing waste but directly contributes to the goals outlined in the NSW Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy (WaSM).

Benefits for your agency

Choose Circular funding could help your agency:

  • meet NSW Government policy commitments, particularly the WaSM requirement to preference recycled content in agency purchasing
